BIG GIFT 2

Once again a group of graduates of the Ontario Self-Employment Benefit Program decided to give back to the community and help Bethesda House, a shelter for victims of domestic violence. This group initially chose this charity back in June when they helped to refit the “Second Chance” clothing store in time for their August 15th re-opening. They called the effort “The Big Gift” and the “sequel” took place last month! They decided to host a fund-raising dinner and silent auction, with all proceeds going to Bethesda House. Hosted at Bobby C’s Dockside Restaurant, the evening included a motivational speech by Kathy Bradford with David Cohen, host of CKDO's Small Business Big Ideas show, as emcee for the evening. Entertainment was provided by the “Four for Fun” Barbershop Quartet.
