Be Safe Around Dogs Seminar
What do you do if a dog is chasing you? How do you meet a dog safely? These are just a few questions that were answered at the 'Be A Tree' seminar at the Bowmanville Vet Clinic at the end of January. Offered at no cost, the seminar is a fun interactive program that teaches children how to be safe around their own dogs, strange dogs, as well as teaching them how to read dog body language. Geared towards 5 to 10 year olds, the seminar itself is presented by a Registered Veterinary Technician from the clinic and and takes about one hour to complete.
